Amazing wood fired pizza and calzone.. Dessert of the week specials. Many craft beers on tap. Go early or be prepared to wait. This is a high volume selling eatery, but well worth the weight....I promise.
At any rate, I'd highly recommend Peel for a pizza, salad, and mac and cheese if you have the room!
Primarily pizza but the varieties are great. Great service. Plan on a wait to get seated. Now I need to resume my diet, since I ate too much.
I've yet to try the beer, but based on the food alone I'd say.... go!
Was excellent pizza and service. The crust was crispy yet soft at the same time. I had the chicken gorgonzola with wild mushrooms and it was fantastic. Great beer selection too. Minus one star for no sweet tea and limited diet drinks.
I used to frequent Peel during school at SIUE. It's been a few years since graduation and my wife and I were in the area and we visited for dinner. The food, drink, and service were all great. It doesn't seem possible, but the regular sized salad was easily twice as big as I remember. It was almost too much for my wife and I, splitting a pizza also.
Love this place. Came here too eat after we got married. Best service and food. Great staff.
