Such a lovely bookstore. I get lost for hours in any bookstore. But this one has such good character and I am always finding new books. And my kids do as well.

A gem of a bookstore tucked slightly away from the busyness of downtown Edwardsville, on the slightly quieter side of Vandalia. Were it for the beautifully done interior and the tasteful music selection alone, it would still be worth a visit; but the selection of books, particularly among the classics and YA fiction, is fantastic and very intelligently chosen and laid out, with many a pleasant surprise lurking among each bookshelf. Much more satisfying (not to mention lighter on the pocket) than going to Books-A-Million any day of the year. Go local!
