The car wash is ok... it doesn't do any worse than any other car wash. I love the free vacuums and the mat wash. Although I've been a couple of times when the mat wash wasn't working with water do it didn't really help.
I tell my good friends that this place is the "behemoth of clean". It is everything a car wash should be.
As soon as a noticed the scratch I went to inform an employee that was on site. While walking to inspect my vehicle, he noticed it when he was still approaching the car (it was that apparent). Once again, it was on the driver's door, right under the side mirror, if the scratch would have been present before the car wash, it would have been spotted immediately.
On 5/12/17 I entered Eclipses automatic car wash. Upon exiting I went to their vacuum area and proceeded to dry off my vehicle. While I was drying I noticed a large sweeping scratch on the front driver's side door. The scratch was very obvious and in a location that would be nearly impossible for any other situation to cause.
After completing the report, I asked how this will be handled. He said that when his manager comes in tomorrow (5/13/17) she will review and get back to me. I received no call on 5/13/17, 5/14/17 or 5/15/17. I called numerous times and left messages, because no one answered the phone. On 5/15/17, I was able to get ahold of someone, but all he could do is pass along a message.
This car wash chipped the paint on my hood and side of my truck in addition to breaking the splash guard with the tire cleaner. I filed a claim when I noticed the damage and they claim their equipment did not do it. To back up their claim they sent a "before" picture. The only problem is the "before" picture is not the same picture they showed me the day of the claim. I know this because the truck is clean in the picture they sent me and there was not any chips in the before picture they showed me the day it happened. They clearly used the picture they took After I made the claim. If you value your paint, don't go to this car wash!
I filled out a damage report claim while the employee took pictures. Once he got done taking pictures he proceeded to try and look at their camera footage to see if the scratch was present before entering. He said that their cameras were not cooperating and that someone else will review them at a later time.
On 5/16/17 I finally received a call to inform me that their equipment could not cause the scratch; that is was impossible. From the reviews I have read, this seems like the common answer to any claim made about their business damaging a vehicle. When I asked if they had used their camera footage to verify that the scratch was present prior to my vehicle being washed, they said that did not have a clear enough image to make a determination. When pressed even more about the business not taking responsibility, I received the same response of, the car wash can't produce that type of scratch.
Does a decent job if the cleanliness of the vehicle isn't too far gone.
