If you want to die young keep Dr Yablonsky as your primary care dr. And the office staff is HORRIBLE.
If you are lookig for a Dr with an office full of rude staff, one that you can never get in contact with, or an office that doesn't return calls, this is the one for you. Dr Y is a great guy and I feel that he truly cares about his patients, but the rest ruins it. Actively looking for a new dr.
Just under a year ago I transferred to Dr. Yablonsky because of all the great things I had heard about his office.... unfortunately my experience has not been the same as theirs. I will be transferring to a new primary physician.
I prefer his great bed manners over my old internal medicine doctor. He is very peppy and full of energy. He finally got me on the right combination to lower my high blood pressure after seeing him twice.

I called in on a morning I was sick, twice. The first lady was so rude that she made my cry, mainly because I was not feeling well and just wanted to get an appt which she would not let me do. I called again wanting to speak with someone that could assist me in getting an appt rather than telling me how I could "drink hot tea" to feel better. I was again transferred to their triage dept. Once again, this lady was extremely rude. Finally I gave up and went to the Walgreens Health Clinic in Glen Carbon (Who were extrememly prompt and helpful.)
I had to get a new primary physician and I have Multiple Sclerosis. Dr.Yablonsky was very up to date on the treatments available to treat the symptoms of MS. He was also very up to date on how to treat the pain associated with MS. I was impressed with how the office had a pain management center there and a physical therapy center there. I saw people from all ages there. I was impressed with the Doctors bedside manner. He was easy to talk with. He had a smile the whole time we talked and seemed very sympathetic to my situation. I liked him and I would recommend him to friends and family.
