Hopefully they will change their attitude as I hate to see any business lose customers but if they are to act this way I believe they will. They have certainly lost me.
I went to the Edwardsville store to purchase a ring for my wife to celebrate our 30th anniversary and picked out one and wanted it in gold instead of the one they had in stock which was silver. I was told by the sales person that it would take 10 days to 2 weeks to get it. It took 1 day short of 5 weeks to get it and I have never had some many different reasons for it not arriving in the length of time which I was promised. When I went to pick it up at the store I mentioned to them that I would not shop there again the gentleman told he did not care as he only wanted happy customers. I thought maybe he would apologize but instead just wrote me off.
I went to Hudson Jewelers today and had a completely wonderful experience. The saleswoman's name was Lisa, and she went out of her way to help me to find the right ring for me, even after I explained to her that I was only browsing. After this experience, I will most definitely have my significant other come to this store to purchase my ring.

I decided to take my wedding ring and band here to get resized down keep in mind when I brought it in I had no previous work done to it just wanted my set to to fit better. When it was ready to be picked up the 1st time there was this huge dark mark on the back of the band I was so upset they said they were not sure what happend to it and then another lady chimed in and stated well I don't know how it looked before it was brought in....not sure what she meant by that but it rubbed me the wrong way. There was nothing wrong with it when it was brought in so then they told me they would send off again. So now today I pick up my wedding ring keep in mind the wedding band was okay which I was wearing while the ring was still getting fixed. But my wedding ring on the other hand is not I can still see the original spot on the band also inside the band the 14kt has been almost filed off the only thing I can see is the 4. I am so not satisfied with the ring at all, knowing that there were no issues with the ring when I brought it in. Now I feel as though I should have left it the way it was and I would not be dealing with the lack of attention to detail that was not taken into consideration.
