This park is a beautiful setting to go and relax or to bring the children to play on the equipment, feed the duck, or to fish. There are neighborhood activities throughout the year like ice cream socials, bands, a festival each October, and a lantern walk on the winter.
Nice little park. Used to come to this park years ago. Then brought my kids when they were little.
Me and my grand girls had the best time feeding the ducks,turtle and fish. I love to go sit and read. Absolutely amazingly beautiful
And although I remember really having fun playing in the sand around the old "pirate's fort" when I was a kid at Leclaire, I have to admit the padded rubber play surface was much safer for the kids. And no sand to have to clean out of car & living room carpet later, lol...
It was nice. The gradient of the hill to the lakes edge was much improved with the new retaining wall- which made it possible for me to actually walk down to the nicely shaded family swing
Small lake, picnic tables, easy to walk around. Plenty of places to park. Located in the Historic Le Claire Neighborhood.
Wonder neighborhood park. Playgrounds and fishing for the kids. Some walking paths/sidewalks around the lake. Great place to sit and have lunch or a weekend picnic.
