Susan Landing is one of the owners of this Remax office. My mother-in-law has had her house on the market for a few months now. Susan's office had a buyer. The buyer supposedly asked for a mold report and one was done by TAG. Undoubtedly they are in cahoots together as the mold report was falsified. Therefore, getting a positive mold report the buyer decided they didn't want the house (about a week before closing). Susan's office browbeat and threatened my mother-in-law into returning the earnest money that had been paid. She basically said if she didn't give it back she would be sued and would have to pay for the buyer's attorney. My in-laws are in their late 60s. They have been lied to, stolen from, and had the value of their home dropped because Susan refuses to make good on damages done by someone SHE or her office allowed into the home. The carpets were damaged, the siding now has a hole in it, my in-laws are out a few hundred dollars to redo the mold test. I will continue to blackball Susan Landing's office as her response to my mother-in-law was..."tough, you can't prove any of it". I don't need proof. Karma can be a bad thing, and when it bites it bites hard. We are filing a complaint against her office, and against TAG with the Illinois State Attorney General. I will also contact any and all media outlets to warn them of this shyster real estate office, and all the way to the CEO of Remax.
